A Day of Edits

Published by enomised.t at 9:08 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

NEWS:
Adjustments have been made to all of the tabbed pages. Make sure you keep up to date with the Submission Guidelines although they shouldn’t be changing much at this point.

To stay on top of important Lamb Stew news, please subscribe to our mailing list. To do so, simply send an e-mail to LambStewMag@gmail.com with the title “Mailing List.” We won’t send you junk, only important news such as deadlines and substantial updates.

B-LOG:
So, the submission have begun to come in already. Thank you to those who have submitted. If you have not already received a confirmation e-mail from us, expect to with in the next day or so. Frankly, I am amazed. Only a small amount of advertising has produced more interest than I would have imagined. As far as quality—I’ll have to get back to you, as I have not read the submissions yet. But, I am sure they are of the highest quality. Crossed fingers.

The original conception for Lamb Stew was as both an electronic and print format literary magazine. If you have read the Introduction page today, then you already know that at this time there will only be a print publication, to be published semi-annually. (Check out the page for more details.) However, perhaps that is for the best. It will create some good suspense. Although I was worried that with publication and the deadline months off, people would be taking their time submitting. I am glad to be wrong! So, you—yes, you—send in your submissions ASAP. You will receive an answer from us long before the deadline, which could actually give you time to submit again if you receive a rejection notice. This is a luxury not extended by many literary magazines. Also, you will receive an explanation upon rejection, so you are not left wondering why.

That’s all for today. An uninteresting blog entry, I know. Tomorrow shall be more colorful, I promise.

Keep reading and submit your work!
